Hey there, I’m Sarah

Giddy Kipper is a British term, largely from the north of England, which is often used to describe somebody who is over-excited or highly excitable. I can be bombastically enthusiastic about, well, practically anything, so it seemed the perfect name for my blogging site. I’ve wanted one for years, as one of the most wonderful aspects of being incredibly excited about things, is being able to share it with somebody. And if there is one thing the internet is great for, it’s sharing.

I know that all the advice around blogging sites is to create a niche and find a tribe of people who share that specific interest, and there are many wonderful sites out there for all sorts of topics, hobbies, and fields of interest. My dilemma is always that there are SO many things. So much of interest. So this is going to be a glorious hodgepodge of themes and topics to be dipped in and out of. A menagerie of miscellany. A smorgasbord of subjects. An assortment of adventures.

It’s for the Jack of All Trades, the ADHD diverted, the polymath, the curious and inquisitive, and the multipotentialites.

Being a busy business owner seemed like a great excuse for not doing this but that goes against the grain of a Giddy Kipper. So, I’m finally carving out some time to get this together.

I hope that you will join me. Perhaps you’ll find something of interest to you, discover a new hobby or interest, or merely disappear down a rabbit hole of disjointed topics and articles, like the rest of us. Perhaps you’ll share your own passions so that others can find out about it too.

Most of all, I hope it will encourage us all to play more and to live more fulfilled lives. I hope it will help us all understand that we can find happiness in the simplest of things that are more within our grasp (or our making) than we often realise.
